Role description
As a Plant Manager and a Board Member, you will take P&L responsibility for overseeing all operational areas within Talent Plastics Tallinn AS. You will be focusing on long-term profitability and high customer and employee satisfaction. Furthermore, you will lead and develop the company by actively pursuing, developing, and following up on goals locally and as part of the Talent Plastics Group.
Your responsibilities include financial monitoring, reporting to the group management, making necessary decisions within your authority, and ensuring that authorization procedures are implemented and adhered to locally.
As a Plant Manager, you take responsibility for the operations in Tallinn, which currently employs approximately 90 people. In this role, you will report to the CEO of the Talent Plastics Group.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborating with the property manager to oversee property management, including maintenance, safety, and property development. This includes ensuring the property complies with current laws, regulations, and company standards. The Tallinn plant is rented.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace safety legislation and other legal monitoring.
- Leading and developing the employees and the management team at Talent Plastics Tallinn.
- Regularly monitoring and reporting financial results and other key performance indicators.
- Creating a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement both within the local plant and across the group.
- Being responsible for recruitment, training, and the development of employees.

Key focus areas for 2025, mission, challenges
- First get an understanding of the efficiency of the organization, both production and administration.
- Switch from current very well-established production and quality orientation to long-term profitability growth according to the Business Plan.
- Develop company culture towards transparent and engaging leadership – coach, lead, inspire, and motivate employees to increase effectiveness and productivity.
- Meet the Budget, overall plan, and margin / EBITDA targets.
- Increase sales and marketing activities. There is an urgent need to hire a new Sales Manager. Contribute to Talent Plastics group and Talent Plastics Tallinn brand visibility on the market.
- Take initiative to create synergies between other Group companies.
- Meet the Talent group sustainability requirements following other group companies’ examples and best practices.
Requirements – how we know that you are a good fit
- 5+ years of experience as a Plant Manager/General Manager/Factory Manager and team leader with a proven track record of reaching targets, and setting KPIs, with P&L responsibility.
- Background from a mid-sized company comparable to Talent Plastics Tallinn.
- Good financial acumen (budgeting, calculations, balance sheet) and a basic understanding of the law.
- Business-oriented mindset.
- A strong interest in sustainability and understand the value of active sustainability efforts.
- Experience with profit responsibility and reporting to group or corporate management.
- Ability to work strategically.

Today, the group comprises five manufacturing companies specializing in the contract manufacturing of products and subsystems involving thermoplastics. Talent Plastics Group is a leading manufacturer of technically injection-molded components. We offer parts ranging from 1 gram to 3 kilograms, with a machinery park ranging from 25 to 1000 tons. Key focus areas include high-finish components, over-molded parts, and technically advanced plastic materials/tools in various production volumes. Our customers operate in the automotive, electronics, industrial, and consumer goods sectors. Talent Plastics Group consists of three factories in Sweden (Laxå, Gislaved, and Bredaryd) and two in Estonia (Tallinn and Tartu).

Talent Plastics Tallinn AS is located Sõstramäe tn 8, Lasnamäe. The company turnover is approximately 10 EUR and the team consists of 90 people. There are 22 injection Mould machines. Plant’s specialties are: IATF 16949, technical materials, complex assembly, and testing.
