We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer to oversee our organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the company’s second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of the business.
The role
COO is a key member of the senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer / CEO. You’ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader.
The goal of the COO position is to secure the functionality of the business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
We are encountering very fast business growth along with the global boom in the e-commerce sector. We intend to keep the pace and launch several new sites across Europe, Asia, US. Hence, there is a lot on the plate. Boomerang is an entrepreneurial company and far from being on a mature stage. This is a great opportunity for a person who is not scared of complexity and pushing the boundaries while staying focused.
The mission
To facilitate more structure into the company’s development.
To implement necessary best practices to ensure high quality, OTD (high speed) service and avoid unnecessary waste.
To prioritize tasks and develop operations, needed for expansion and growth.
To contribute to regional expansion (finding new potential locations etc.)
Develop KPI’s to measure operational performance and quality.
Your qualifications we´d like to see
· Bachelor’s Degree – preferably solid educational background
· Management background from EMS, or other process-driven companies
· Proven experience as COO or any other relevant role from a medium-sized international company preferably within the manufacturing field
· Experienced in change management as well as continuous improvement principles
· Good knowledge and understanding of process efficiency and system integrations
· Understanding of business functions such as operations, finance, HR and logistics
· Interest for hands-on operational monitoring
· Experience setting clear operational targets, monitoring as well as analysis of results and dynamically drive improvements
