Hello, My Name is Jari Berglund and I’m a Managing Director of Wienerberger Finland and now also Managing Director for our Baltic Entity.
I have been working 15 years at Wienerberger and before those 13 years at Knauf, so I have broad experience of Building Material Industry, mainly from Finland, but also Baltic Countries and Nordic.
I started 2011 at Wienerberger as a Sales director, Finland and Baltics, but even being MD since 2015 I have closely work together with sales Teams and customers. That is what I’m intended to do also in with Baltic market. To be present and support our Teams

Your challenge
- Strengthen Wienerberger’ s market presence in Estonia and support the shift toward a more sales-driven organization.
- The market is changing. The brick is replaced with brick slip solutions in cladding products.
- Increase sales activity, volume and specification wins with architects and contractors.
- Maintain strong field presence through regular customer and site visits.
- Build a foundation for the future Country Manager (EST, LV) responsibility.
You are a great fit if you have these experiences & competencies
- Technical degree (engineering, construction, building materials or similar). Extensive experience working with technical area can replace the technical degree requirement.
- Sales experience in construction, building materials, technical products, project sales or distribution.
- Good understanding of how architects, contractors and developers make decisions.
- Sales Leadership Potential.
- Strong commercial mindset: pipeline creation, customer follow-up, forecasting.
- Clear potential to grow into Country Manager role.
- Estonian at least C1 spoken and written. English at least B2 level spoken and written. Russian is beneficial.
- Experience working in companies with matrix / Nordic structures is beneficial.
You are characterized as
- Someone who demonstrates a desire to take the responsibility as a sales manager, able to build strong partnerships between suppliers, contractors, architects etc.
- Person with a strong commercial drive; proactive, hands-on, and self-starting attitude.
- Relationship-focused, credible with technical and construction clients.
- Ambitious and motivated by taking increasing leadership responsibility.
- Structured, reliable, analytically minded; able to manage CRM, forecasting and pipeline quality.
- Down to earth, self-disciplined and driven, not too formal, or seeking for hierarchical structure. Even though we are part of global company our Finnish-Baltic operations are rather flat.
Location & working hours
Office location: Peterburi tee 46, Tallinn. Home office arrangements are possible, but it is expected that most of the work will be done at the workplace.
