We are looking for a Head of People to oversee and take ownership of all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
To us, a Head of People is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. This means that your duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development.
You’ll collaborate closely with your peers across the organization. People are our most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives.
You are the leader of your own HR team of 3 specialists.

- Advanced knowledge of HR functions and ability to deliver.
- 5+ years of experience in an international environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Estonian and English.
- Communicative, open-minded, team-oriented personality, with a sense of humor and strong EQ.
- Ideally familiar with the specifics of the production sector company.

Balti Spoon is a part of the Möhring Group – a wood industry company producing natural wood veneers of beautiful colors and patterns. Many homes, offices, schools, and concert halls feature decorative pieces of furniture, floors, or walls covered with veneer produced here in Estonia.
Balti Spoon is the market leader in the production of decorative veneers in Estonia. The production volumes and quality, however, place Balti Spoon among the best in the world. The company boasts good knowledge, continuously developing technology, and decades of experience.
Main partners are furniture companies, panel- and door manufacturers, flooring producers, distributors, and representatives of various fields. Production is delivered to customers in more than 40 countries worldwide offering the highest quality and flexible solution in cooperation with Möhring Group in Poland and North American veneer factories.
Balti Spoon employs roughly 350 people, including many veneer production experts with extensive experience. The management of Möhring Group companies is well-integrated enabling sharing of best practices across countries. The company values a secure working environment and honest working relationships.
Balti Spoon is a responsible company, saving the environment as much as possible – chemicals are not used in production. All of the production waste is recycled and used in secondary products.

Our veneers are exported to customers in Europe, Asia, North America, Arab countries, and Australia. A small part of the production also stays in Estonia.
350 employees
Veneer sheets are very thin and crack easily; thus, in addition to job positions for specialists who require extensive training, there are also supportive jobs that require precision handiwork.
25,000 m2 of production
Our factory has been constantly expanding and developing since the commencement of the production operations in 1998. Balti Spoon’s working environment is warm, full of light, and clean.
